The conditions of poverty, medical care, education, literacy, maternal and child mortality, sanitation, and housing in Narayanpur Union of Narsingdi district were deplorable. Poor people lived and earned their living with difficulty. They could not determine a better future due to lack of awareness, knowledge, technical skills, technology, and necessary information. Neither the ability nor the mentality to save and form capital was sufficient. The lists of government and private organizations were insufficient for the target population. Again, most of the desired people were not reached at all. Poverty alleviation and social development were essential. In this situation, the executive director of the organization, Mr. Jamal Hossain, established the service organization in 2003 with a few social workers and progressive individuals.
